ARBITRON Online Radio SERVICES PRIVACY STATEMENT

Arbitron Inc. is a media research firm that provides survey research information to help online radio stations, television stations and streaming media businesses evaluate audiences and create better programming for you—their listeners and viewers. By understanding the types of people who listen and view their programs, they are better able to create programming for your enjoyment. Advertisers use information about listeners and viewers to decide on which programs to place their advertisements so that they are the most likely to reach people interested in their products.

Arbitron Survey Participants
The confidentiality and privacy of our survey respondents is important to Arbitron. Arbitron has a 50 year history of conducting audience surveys. The success of our business depends upon the trust of our survey respondents. Keeping the identity of survey respondents confidential is essential to our business.

Personally-identifiable information is information that could be used to identify you personally, such as name, company, address, phone number or e-mail address. Arbitron, and anyone who is working with us on research, will keep personal information about you and your household confidential. In fact, we only collect personally-identifiable information with your permission and when it is absolutely necessary, usually so that we can contact you in the event that you have won a prize or sweepstakes, or to provide you with other incentives that you have elected to receive for being part of our online surveys.

In some instances, we may use other companies to perform certain services on our behalf. These companies may need access to personal information to complete the services. The companies will not have authorization to use personally-identifiable information for purposes other than to perform the services on our behalf. The data we collect are considered our proprietary business assets and may be transferred if Arbitron or substantially all of its assets are acquired by another company. Children
Arbitron conducts research with children in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act prohibits the collection of personally-identifiable information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent.

Information Collected by Arbitron
Arbitron is committed to helping maintain the privacy of Internet users and the integrity of information collected using the Internet.

Arbitron collects information using several methods, including online surveys, computer connection information and through the use of 'cookies.' Information collected by Arbitron is not combined with the personally-identifiable information of Internet listeners or viewers.

Arbitron Online Surveys
Arbitron asks listeners and viewers to answer questions in surveys over the Internet. An individual's answers are not reported separately. They are reported in combination with the answers collected from other survey respondents.

Information About Computer Connections
Arbitron may collect information about your computer's Internet connection, such as the number that is assigned to your computer when you log in, the time that your computer was connected to the online programming and the name of the programming that was connected. Like the survey answers, information about your computer's Internet connection will not be reported separately from the information about other computer Internet connections. This information is reported in combination with information collected from other listeners and viewers.

Cookies
Arbitron may also send an information file known as a "cookie" to your computer which helps us recognize connections to online programming that have been made by your computer. Like survey answers, information in cookies is not reported separately. This information is reported in combination with information collected from other listeners and viewers.

Cookies are commonly used by websites to make your experience using the Internet easier and more enjoyable. Cookies are an important part of Internet technology. Arbitron cookies do not damage your computer, computer files or computer programs.

When you connect with an online radio or TV station or other Internet programming that is using information gathered by Arbitron, Arbitron sends a cookie to your computer which contains a randomly-generated number. Every time you connect with online radio, TV or other Internet programming, Arbitron reads this number. This number helps us tell online radio stations, TV stations or other Internet programmers how often their audience listens and views their programming.

If you do not wish to have cookies sent to your computer by Arbitron or other companies, most browsers allow you to 'turn off' cookies. There are also software programs from third parties which enable you to delete cookies. Unfortunately, if you decide to turn off your cookies, you will not be able to participate in this survey.

Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, Arbitron implements procedures to safeguard and secure the information that is collected online. Although Arbitron will use reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of the information provided, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. Arbitron is not liable for disclosure of the information supplied due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Governing Law
This Policy, the laws of the State of New York and the United States shall govern any issues related to this Privacy Statement.
