In a new study, Arbitron Inc. and Edison Media Research look at in-car radio listening in the United Kingdom and compare it to other European markets and the U.S. First unveiled at the NAB European Radio Conference, the study provides insights on in-car listeners and their listening habits including: in-car listening versus overall radio listening; impact of mobile phones, digital radio and other new devices on AM/FM radio; importance of presets to in-car listening; impact of traffic reports; and the value of in-car listeners to advertisers.
