PPM Markets
PPM “Currency” Market(s)
Effective with the January 2007 report period, the Continuous-Measurement radio market below begins conversion from diary measurement to electronic measurement using Arbitron’s Portable People Meter.

Audience estimates based on diary measurement will not be available for report periods after Fall 2006 in this market. Audience estimates based on PPM measurement will be available to subscribers in this market as follows:
“Pre-Currency”
For the January 2007 and February 2007 report periods, “Pre-Currency” PPM audience estimates will be available to subscribers as demonstration data. During this interval, Fall 2006 audience estimates (based on diary measurement) will remain the “currency” for this market. Effective with the release of March 2007 PPM data, the market will become a PPM Currency Market, with March 2007 PPM audience estimates replacing Fall 2006 audience estimates (based on diary measurement) as Currency.
Monthly Audience Estimates
Effective with the January 2007 report period, monthly audience estimates will be available to all PPM subscribers via the PPM Radio Market Report (Arbitron PPM eBook). Monthly audience estimates will also be available via the Summary Data Set to subscribing third-party processors and other Summary Data Set subscribers. Monthly audience estimates will additionally be available to subscribers via the PPM Analysis Tool, following release of the enhanced version of the tool in March 2007. At that time, monthly audience estimates for the enhanced PPM Analysis Tool for the January 2007 and February 2007 report periods will be released to subscribers.
PPM “Weeklies” (Weekly Audience Estimates)
Weekly audience estimates for February 2007 will be released concurrent with the release of February 2007 monthly data. Effective with the March 2007 report period, weekly audience estimates will be available to PPM Weeklies subscribers as soon as data from the survey week is processed for release. (Subscribers will not need to wait until the release of monthly data.)
PPM “Demonstration” Market(s)
Arbitron will continue to provide PPM Demonstration data in the Continuous-Measurement market below, while continuing to provide audience estimates and data based on Arbitron’s diary service:

Quarterly Diary Audience Estimates
Audience estimates based on diary measurement—including the Winter 2007 Radio Market Report (Arbitron eBook) and rolling three-month ArbitrendsSM reports—will be available to subscribers in this market as scheduled.
In addition, audience estimates based on PPM measurement will be available on a demonstration basis as follows:
Monthly PPM Audience Estimates
Effective with the January 2007 report period, monthly audience estimates will be available through the PPM Radio Market Report (Arbitron PPM eBook). Monthly audience estimates will also be available through the Summary Data Set and the PPM Analysis Tool.
An enhanced PPM Analysis Tool will be released in March 2007. At that time, monthly audience estimates for prior monthly report periods from September 2006 through January 2007 will be available to run through the enhanced version of the Tool. Monthly audience estimates for February 2007 will also be released at that time.
Weekly PPM Audience Estimates
Weekly PPM audience estimates for the PPM Analysis Tool will continue to be released on a weekly basis.
Television and Cable Television Audience Estimates and Cable Universe Weighting Discontinued
Effective with the January 2007 survey month, audience estimates for television stations and cable television stations will no longer be reported as part of Arbitron’s Radio Market Report Service. As a result, audience estimates will no longer be weighted based on presence (or absence) of cable television in the household.
